The Path To Success With Coding
The STEM Training Coding Club provides students with an opportunity to develop multiple skills while coding. Each week a new topic is launched with online instructional lessons to help them complete it with new skills to test their knowledge. In addition, twice a month, we have a live Zoom Coaching Call where all the students can come together to showcase their final solution, get help with coding problems, and be inspired by other students.
Build Career Skills Early
Problem Solving
Coding by nature is about problem-solving; each program is created to meet a need or want. Code does not always work, and figuring out what is broken develops those vital problem-solving skills.
Coding
We live in a digital age. So many aspects of our lives colliding with technology, it will only make sense that we understand how this technology works on some level.
Strategy
Coding, more than other activities students engage in, uses processes. First, they must plan each code step and develop a strategic plan to write the code. Then the debugging process kicks in.
Logic
We hear the word 'logic' used so much nowadays about education. No activity will teach logic better than coding. There are rules to follow and processes that work in order. Coding develops the discipline of logical thinking.

Coach Lesley
Coach Lesley has been teaching homeschool students to code since 2016. From Scratch to Python to robotics to Raspberry Pi to app development, she has opened the world of coding up in a new way.
She is a homeschool mom to her three boys, who not only code with Scratch and Python for fun but have successfully participated in competitive robotics, winning Championships and competing at State and World levels.
Her personal favorite form of coding is web development. She has built several websites from scratch.
Her driving passion is to give homeschool students the opportunities to develop skills for their future careers and encourage them to keep trying because success may come when you try one more time.
